ChargePoint Holdings, Mercedes-Benz and MN8 Energy, a major US solar, stationary power and renewable energy providers, have announced plans to rapidly expand the availability of DC fast charging with the development of over 400 charging hubs across the US and Canada. 

EV charging devices and management systems provider EverCharge has launched Cove, the company’s first single-family home charging solution, at CES 2023. 

Splitvolt will showcase its portfolio of 220V–240V, Level 2 power sharing and electric vehicle home charging products at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) from 5–8 January, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Korea-headquartered SK Signet, a manufacturer of EV charging solutions is unveiling the V2, the first ultra-fast charger produced in the US at SK Signet’s Texas plant. 

Yadea, an electric two-wheeler brand, is showcasing its super-fast charging technology at this week's Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in the US which runs from January 5-8 in Las Vegas, NV.

Finland-headquartered Kempower is teaming up with Australian EV charging infrastructure specialist Jet Charge to deliver the charging infrastructure for what is said to be Australia’s largest electric truck trial. 

Potomac Edison, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corporation, has completed a battery energy storage project paired with two new EV fast-charging stations and one Level 2 charging station in Frederick County, Maryland. 

Opened in July 2022, the Redbridge Superhub in Oxford is claimed to be Europe's most powerful EV charging hub and is at the centre of the UK city's plans to support full EV migration by 2040.

Charging concerns remain the biggest reason for consumers not to buy an electric vehicle, so the issue has to be resolved if the targets for rapid EV rollouts are to be achieved.
