Norway-headquartered Freyr Battery has announced the selection and purchase of a site in Coweta County, Georgia for its planned Giga America battery plant.

The global EV battery market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 19.0% from US$56.4bn in 2022 to US$134.6bn by 2027.
