Gridserve has installed what it claims is the UK’s fastest car charger for public usage at Braintree Electric Forecourt in Essex. Capable of delivering a maximum output of up to 360kW, it can add an approximate 100 miles in less than five minutes.
UK start-up Nyobolt says that initial in-vehicle testing using powerful 350kW (800V) DC fast chargers has confirmed that its 50Ah 35kWh EV battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in four minutes 37 seconds.
With 100% of its service areas equipped with electric charging points, Vinci Autoroutes is continuing to deploy charging stations on its network to support the development of electric mobility in France.
