The company says it is proud that all of its EV chargers along the Gridserve Electric Highway are membership free and feature contactless payment. However, the Gridserve app has been designed to bring extra benefits and features to regular customers. These includes things like locating the best EV chargers, monitoring their availability in real time, and pinging their precise coordinates to Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze.

Then, when users do plug in, they can now start, stop and monitor the real-time charging status of their vehicle with a few taps on their phone from the comfort of a nearby coffee shop.

The Gridserve app also automatically emails a receipt and charging summary after every session, and stores the previous 10 charging sessions in a user’s account.

As an introductory offer, Gridserve is offering 20% off all charging sessions this summer when using the Gridserve app. It’s available to download in both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
