News website Place North West reported that the shopping centre has submitted plans to Trafford Council that will see an £11.5m expansion of the site's current 18 ultra-rapid chargers to 65 starting in 2025 if the plans get the go-ahead.
The Trafford site currently has EV charging points on Regent 13 car park opposite Marks & Spencer and Peel 4 and Peel 5A car parks on the lower level, and also has a Tesla Supercharger Station hub.
The EV points at the centre are part of the Greater Manchester EV network.
