Tesla has opened its new Tesla Diner in Hollywood, California.
The Diner is designed as a Supercharging station, classic American diner and drive-in experience combined into one. The location offers retro-futuristic design influences, and charging access for both Tesla and non-Tesla drivers along the Route 66 highway.
The Tesla Diner features 80 V4 Supercharger stalls that are open to all NACS-compatible EVs, which Tesla says makes it the largest urban Supercharging station in the world.
Solar canopies offer shade to the west charging lot, helping to reduce the site's carbon emissions by about 26.6 million pounds of CO2 per year.
Visitors can watch movies and special features on either of two 66-foot LED megascreens, which can be viewed from the upper-level Skypad or from their Tesla vehicle cabin using the Tesla Diner app.
The two-story restaurant offers 24/7 dining, and the Skypad gives customers views of the city or the megascreens while they recharge.
