Payments processor Enfuce has partnered with Octopus Energy’s Electroverse European EV charging network to launch the Electroverse Business Payments Card.

The card is a next-generation fleet payment solution designed to simplify expense management for fleets and accelerate the shift to electric mobility for businesses across the UK.

Electroverse's EV charging network connects drivers to more than 960,000 chargers across the UK and Europe through a network of more than 1,100 different charging operator brands in over 40 countries.

Using Enfuce’s cloud-native architecture, Octopus says it is now expanding its offering with a powerful all-in-one payment card that brings together fleet charging, fuelling, and everyday fleet costs, from meals and travel to car washes and maintenance, in a single solution.

The Electroverse Business Payments Card is an open-loop Visa Fleet 2.0 solution that enables advanced real-time spend controls, instant transaction monitoring, built-in regulatory compliance, and robust fraud prevention, giving fleets full financial visibility and operational control.

As the first issuer processor certified for Visa Fleet 2.0 in Europe, and with a modular platform built for speed, flexibility, and regulatory strength, Enfuce says it was uniquely positioned to power a solution that redefines fleet mobility, perfectly aligned with Octopus’s mission to accelerate sustainable transport in the UK.

The partners say their announcement comes at a pivotal time. With EVs expected to dominate fleets by 2030 and new regulatory requirements on the horizon, the demand for a future-proof, scalable payment infrastructure has never been greater.

This milestone also marks another major step in Enfuce’s expansion across the UK. After securing key partnerships, including with UK payments solutions provider allpay, and receiving its Electronic Money Institution (EMI) licence from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in 2024, Enfuce says it is now scaling rapidly across the country, cementing its positioning as the strategic payments partner for the UK’s most forward-thinking brands in mobility, banking and beyond.

Monika Liikamaa, co-founder & co-CEO of Enfuce says: “The launch of the Electroverse Business Payments Card is a game-changer for fleet electrification. As the first issuer processor certified for Visa Fleet 2.0 in Europe, Enfuce is uniquely equipped to deliver solutions that meet the complex needs of modern mobility. Together with Octopus, we’re helping businesses take control of their fleet spend and accelerate their transition to electric at scale.”

Denise Johansson, co-founder & co-CEO of Enfuce says: “For us, this isn’t just about enabling payments, it’s about accelerating meaningful progress in mobility. As EV adoption grows, the infrastructure behind it must evolve just as rapidly. This partnership with Octopus Energy’s Electroverse showcases how innovative technology and shared vision can come together to solve real challenges for fleets. It’s a bold step toward building a cleaner, smarter, and more connected future of transport.”

Matt Davies, Director and Creator of Octopus Energy’s Electroverse says: “Electroverse started with a simple goal: to take the hassle out of EV charging. Now we’re taking that vision even further – empowering businesses with the tools they need to electrify their fleets with confidence, regardless of where they are in the transition. Every solution that brings more EVs onto the road counts, and we’re proud to be building the infrastructure that helps businesses
