A total of 129 EVs will support the cyclists and the race administrators during the event 18 Kempower Movable Chargers will be provided throughout the race to power electric service cars for staff and athletes. The support cars for the race come from car manufacturer Xpeng.

The 10th annual event will be held in Northern Norway’s on the 17th – 20th of August 2023. The partnership enables closer collaboration towards an emission-free event and empowers positive impact on Northern Norway's territories.

The Arctic Race of Norway tests the endurance of the world’s best cyclists as they come together to navigate Northern Norway’s mountainous terrain. Organised by Arctic Sport and Amaury Sport Organisation, the same governing body that arranges top international sporting events, including the Tour de France, the race strongly emphasizes sustainability as it is one of the first cycling races to use predominantly electric vehicles when organising the event.

“Kempower has been a reliable charging supplier to the two previous editions of the Arctic Race of Norway. We appreciate the commitment the Kempower team has shown, enabling temporary charging infrastructure, and a smooth race for our participants and staff. Offering Kempower an official partner status at this year’s event seemed like a natural next step,” said Knut-Eirik Dybdal at Arctic Sport.
