The company has a network of more than 1,000 DC CCS2 fast chargers in India that serves e-bus, e-coach, e-cab fleets and workplace charging. The chargers are also opened up to the public for EV charging.

“As an organisation we focus on DC fast charging,” says Nishant Arya, JBM Group’s US MD, speaking at the Asia Pacific EV Charging Infrastructure 2023 in Singapore. “We have come up with ultra-fast chargers without impacting the battery life.

“We have tried to establish India’s largest network of DC fast chargers and are looking to go global with this.”

JBM’s charging offering includes 360KW ultra-fast chargers, 240KW dual gun charging and 180KW single gun charging.

Arya added that JBM is now expanding its network to multiple Indian cities, and to locations in Europe and the US.

JBM has signed a contract with a partner in Australia in the last two months, and Arya says there is also interest in its offering from Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and New Zealand.

“We are aiming to deploy 10,000 DC fast chargers by 2025, of which 60% will be in India,” says Arya.
