Independent German electric vehicle manufacturer, Next.e.GO Mobile SE, (e.GO) is introducing a new compact commercial last mile urban delivery electric vehicle, the e.Xpress.

The US General Services Administration (GSA) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) have announced a contract for the purchase of 140 solar-powered electric vehicle charging stations at 34 sites around the USA.

Phillips 66 has announced the installation of FreeWire ultrafast electric-vehicle chargers at its fuel station close to its headquarters in Houston, marking the debut of ultrafast EV charging at a convenience fuel station in the city. 

As the US prepares to dramatically expand its network of charging stations for EVs and update power grids to meet growing demand, planners in many jurisdictions are drafting strategies to capture some of the US$5bn slated to help states pay for charging stations under President Joseph Biden's Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
