The program, available exclusively through ChargePoint’s website, provides drivers with a simple process: after answering three questions about their home, they receive an instant quote and installation date. This eliminates the need to find and vet an electrician or schedule a separate pre-installation visit.

ChargePoint partners with certified installers to manage the service, streamlining the process for drivers. With 80% of EV charging occurring at home, according to the US Department of Energy, the company’s initiative offers greater convenience.

The ChargePoint Home Flex Level 2 charger, a best-seller in the US and Canada, supports both indoor and outdoor installation and features a 23-foot cable to accommodate different parking setups. Through the ChargePoint mobile app, drivers can schedule charging, adjust speed, and receive reminders. The charger also integrates with Amazon Alexa and Apple Siri for voice control, enabling users to check charging status or start and stop charging easily. The app provides access to over one million charging locations worldwide, making it a comprehensive tool for EV owners.
